Roguelike deckbuilder with deeply intertwined synergies between cards, items, elements, and runes.
Runes apply status effects and can be combined into stronger runes. There are 4 tiers of runes and they can be upgraded as shown by this tree. There are 2 other trees each with a different focus.
Elements can be added to your affinity pool by discarding cards.
A played card needs the matching elemental affinities to apply runes. With or without runes it still does its primary effect: damage, heal, or block. There are 3 tiers of cards and each card can be upgraded to improve its runes or primary effect.
Items have 5 tiers and a wide variety of effects that interact with elements, runes, and a character's stats. Items can be combined to upgrade into a higher tier. Each character can equip 8 items.
A skill tree contains powerful upgrades. It resets each game, no meta progression.
Choose 3 of 5 heroes each run.
