About the game

Choose from four classes, turn skill upgrades and loot into your own build, and break through enemy hordes in this single-player action RPG. Dodge a boss’s charge, shatter its exposed arm, and turn an opening into your next victory.

Original Steam description

Four classes. Four ways to fight.

Vamblo is a 3D action RPG about shaping your build and putting it to work against packs of enemies and bosses.
  • Paladin — Fight up close with sword and shield. Control enemies with sacred chains and bring down the hammer.
  • Sorceress — Unleash fire, frost, and lightning. Specialize in one element or combine their effects.
  • Hunter — Line up piercing arrows, lay traps, and keep firing as you reposition.
  • Beastmaster — Command wolves and a hawk, direct their attacks with your whip, and strike with a golden bear’s slam.

Feel your build change

Turn a firebolt into an explosion. Sweep through a crowd with a spinning blade. Grow a lone wolf into a pack. Invest in skill variations and passive effects that change how you fight, then match them with equipment that supports your plan.

Read the warning. Take the opening.

Watch attack paths, move out of danger, and strike during a boss’s recovery. In the Siege Golem challenge, bait a charge into a wall or break its exposed arm to stagger it. Learn the encounter and make your next opening count.

Find loot worth building around

Random equipment properties, unique effects, and class sets give you new combinations to try. Compare your finds, adjust your skills, and take your build back into battle.

Three chapters to conquer

Fight through 30 areas across the Sanctuary, Ruined Fortress, and Bone Cathedral, with a boss waiting at the end of each chapter. Return to town to prepare, continue from saved checkpoints, and take on higher difficulties as your character and equipment grow.

Development notice

Vamblo is currently being developed with 3D graphics. Depending on future circumstances, both the full game and the demo may switch to 2D graphics. No decision has been made about a switch to 2D.

Demo and release information

No demo is verified in the current check data. This does not mean the game has never had a demo; check its Steam page for current availability.
