That corn isn't going to shell itself.
There are over 1.000.000 ears of corn piled up on an old farm somewhere in the Soviet countryside. You have a yard to organize, a workshop to fill, and an unreasonable amount of corn to get through.
Start small. Buy your first tools, fill a bucket, and settle into the rhythm of shelling by hand. Sell your first sacks and put the money back into the farm. Before long, that quiet little job can become a busy operation of rattling machines, moving conveyors, workers hauling loads, and trucks waiting for their next shipment.
FROM YOUR FIRST COB TO YOUR LAST TRUCKLOAD
Just Kukuruza is a first-person work and automation simulator about clearing an enormous mountain of corn.
You can do the work yourself, hire help, or build a production line that handles more of the job for you. Carry corn in buckets, push a wheelbarrow, use a handheld suction blower, or climb into an excavator and scoop up a bigger load.
Every upgrade changes how you work. Every shipment helps pay for the next one. The goal stays simple: process and sell the corn, right down to the last ear.
GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY
Take a seat at the workbench and shell corn with hand tools. Move on to hand-operated shellers, then motorized machines as your operation grows.
Fill the machines, collect the grain, carry away full sacks, and clear out the leftover cobs. Watch loose corn tumble as you pour it, and follow your loads along the conveyors.
You will get to know those first tools well. You will also know exactly why you want a better one.
BUILD YOUR OWN PRODUCTION LINE
Turn an empty yard and warehouse into a working corn-processing operation.
Choose your equipment, preview its position, rotate it, and connect compatible machines and conveyors. Use straight sections, inclines, feeders, and elevators to move material between different stages. Adjust the length of straight belts to suit your layout.
Bring corn from the pile to the shellers, carry the grain to automatic bagging machines, and send filled sacks towards the loading bays. Run your lines through the warehouse openings and out to the waiting trucks.
Start with one simple line. Expand into several. Move equipment and reorganize the farm as your plans get bigger.
HIRE A FEW EXTRA HANDS
You do not have to carry every load yourself.
Hire workers and assign them jobs around the farm. Put them to work transporting corn, supplying shellers and conveyors, operating supported equipment, collecting filled sacks, or clearing away leftover cobs.
Workers can handle buckets, wheelbarrows, and handheld suction blowers. Assign an operator to an excavator, or take the controls yourself.
Choose where people work and what equipment they use. More workers can keep a growing operation supplied, but their wages are part of the business too. Find the balance between extra hands and better machinery.
TAKE THE CONTROLS
Sometimes the best way to understand a job is to do it yourself.
Use the handheld suction blower to collect corn and supply containers, machines, or conveyors. Push a wheelbarrow where it is needed. Get into the excavator, lower the bucket into the pile, scoop, lift, turn, and unload.
Walk through the operation in first person and see how everything fits together—from the corn entering a machine to the sacks leaving on a truck.
KEEP THE LOADS MOVING
A productive farm needs more than a fast sheller.
Machines need a steady supply of corn. Grain needs somewhere to go. Full sacks need collecting, and leftover cobs need clearing away. Connect the stages, assign your workers, and give your equipment room to work.
Load sacks onto trucks and send shipments off for sale. Reinvest the earnings in more equipment, more workers, or another production line.
Try different approaches: stay hands-on, build around a hardworking crew, or invest in a larger automated setup.
WATCH THE MOUNTAIN SHRINK
At first, your work barely seems to make a dent. Then the buckets become wheelbarrow loads. The wheelbarrows are joined by conveyors. Another machine arrives. Another truck leaves.
The pile that once towered over the yard starts to look manageable.
There is something satisfying about standing back and seeing what you have built—and knowing that every sack came from the mountain in front of you.
