Monkey Overdrive

Coming soon

SNobi GamesDiscovered Oct 25, 2026

About the game

Aliens stole your bananas. You brought a weaponized flying saucer. Charge up, let go, and turn hundreds of jelly slimes into bowling pins! Ricochet off walls, punt enemies into oncoming traffic, and crash the boss's party in this chaotic physics-ramming roguelike.

Original Steam description

Hold. Release. Strike!

Monkey just wants his bananas back. Hundreds of jelly aliens are standing in the way. Bad idea, jelly aliens.

Your guns fire automatically, leaving you to focus on what really matters: driving the wrecking ball. Hold Space to rev up, let go to smash through the horde, and ride the rebound straight into the next pack. In Monkey Overdrive, walls aren't obstacles. They're pinball bumpers.

Weaponize the Environment

Most stages take you through three connected zones packed with hazards begging to be abused. Why shoot slimes when you can punt them into oncoming city traffic, factory hydraulic presses, runaway trains, or gravity wells?

Let the stage do the dirty work. Clear the zone, hit the teleport beam, and drop straight into the next brawl.

WARNING: Big Guy Incoming

Survive the zones, and the stage boss crashes the party. Each one brings its own brand of chaos, from screen-sweeping tentacles and tidal waves to an express train that definitely doesn't brake for monkeys.

Read the telegraphs, hop over the shockwaves, and wait for your opening. Then unleash a fully charged ram right into its face.

Overclock Your Saucer

Level up mid-run to stack weapons, passives, and screen-clearing evolutions:
  • Evolve Your Arsenal: Max out your gear to unlock branching paths. Turn Swarm Missiles into the ten-rocket Hive Apocalypse, or drop one screen-shaking Big Banana Bomb.
  • Tune Your Ram: Scoop up bananas mid-fight to bolt on impact mods like the Banana Rivet and Collision Meter. Ram three different enemies in two seconds, and watch the third impact hit like a freight train.
  • 6 Saucers, 6 Playstyles: Bring your loot back to the garage, research permanent upgrades, and swap rides. Six distinct saucers mean six different ways to wreck the exact same stage.

Rev up. Let go. Go get those bananas.
