About the game
A relaxing 2D space-flight game with real gravity. Carry a whole people asleep on board through eighteen exoduses to a world to land on, or explore the open universe of the Drift. Beautiful suns best admired from afar, and not a single weapon: when trouble comes, you fly.
Description d’origine sur Steam
Lift off from a world in ruins and look for somewhere to begin again. In Crossing Space, you fly a small ship past vast suns, frozen planets and unfamiliar skies. There’s water to keep you flying, a hull to look after, and a whole people counting on you to find a place to land.
A LITTLE THRUST. THEN GRAVITY TAKES OVER.
Turn, fire the engine, let go. Feel a planet pull you closer, watch a curve become an orbit, and discover how one last burst of thrust can save a landing. Getting a feel for the controls is part of the journey.BEAUTIFUL, AND UP TO NO GOOD.
An orange sun fills the window. Beyond it, a ring of ice, a cloud of ash, the dark mouth of a black hole. Take a detour. Explore. Find a world where you can collect water or repair your ship. You choose the route; space has a say in how it goes.THAT MOMENT WHEN YOU CUT THE ENGINE.
Slow down. Make a small correction. Ease towards the surface until you touch down. After all that sky, solid ground at last. Every habitable world is a new home… and the beginning of the next exodus.Expect some commentary along the way: “Looks like ash. Pretty, yes, but the ship will not thank you for it.”
- 18 handcrafted exoduses, following a people in search of somewhere to stay.
- Flight shaped by inertia and gravity. Learning how to move matters more than moving fast.
- Explore without weapons. When trouble finds you, flying is your way out.
- Lose your ship and nobody scolds you: just try that exodus again. The ones you’ve completed stay with you.
- Play the whole adventure offline, without creating an account.
Pick a light in the sky. With any luck, it won’t be a sun.
