Starmax to fantastycznonaukowy roguelike polegający na budowaniu zawartości worka: gra w stylu budowania talii, w której losujesz z worka zamiast z talii. Kształtuj zawartość worka, rozbudowuj bazę i połącz oba elementy w jeden mechanizm. Badaj wrogie planety, zbieraj zasoby i wysyłaj ładunek, zanim baza zostanie opanowana.

Starmax is a sci-fi roguelike bag-builder: a deck-builder where you draw from a bag instead of a deck. Each turn you draw resource tokens and spend them to shape your bag, fight off creatures, build your base, and ultimately ship cargo to win.
Your bag contains tokens, the resources that activate your buildings and events. Tokens also act as fighters, workers, and cargo. Many have abilities that create synergies with your buildings. Shape your bag as you go by boosting, destroying, and discovering tokens.
Don't let the calm surface of each planet fool you. Hostile creatures will attack your base. Attackers will block your buildings from being used and will eventually destroy them unless dealt with.
Learn blueprints and construct new buildings with rule-bending passives and powerful once-per-turn activations. Every faction has its own pool of buildings to master.
Your mission on every landing is to ship cargo. Manage your resources and plan ahead in order to do so before your base is overrun.
