Some princess got kidnapped. Again.

You are the town's last idea. Walk out, kill everything that walks in, come home, spend what you found, and walk out further next time.

Survive the horde

There is no build phase and there are no waves. From the first second the orcs walk out of the treeline and they do not stop. Goblins first. Then orcs, shieldbearers, shamans, brutes. Then the things the harder roads keep.

At the end of the clock one of five bosses arrives. The Wendigo, the Bone Sovereign, the Minotaur, the Gilded King, the Ashen Golem. You find out which when it walks out.

Get stupidly strong

Every level is three cards. Around 200 of them across ten themes. A Common bumps a number. A Rare changes the shot. A Legendary changes what the game is. Every power starts weak and ends at about five times that if you keep feeding it.

Some cards combine into something else. The game tells you a combination is close. It does not tell you the recipe.

Eight heroes, eight games

Ashe kites with a bow. Lance stands in the middle of it with a shield. Knuckles steps into every swing of his spear. Neve freezes the field. Cleave is a greatsword with a rage bar. Moonhammer calls lightning. Rayze uses the dead. Zeal holds a circle of ground and dares them to step in.

Every hero has powers only they get, and they fire themselves. Your job is where to stand.

Take their stuff

Gear drops on the field with a beam you can see from across the map. Eight slots, five rarities, around eighty things a piece can roll. Bring it home and upgrade it, fuse two into one, reroll it, or melt it for gems.

Six weapons, and each one has its own four-hit chain that ends in something. A greatsword sweeps half the field. A bow calls down arrows. Fists just keep going. Socket runes into a weapon to change what the chain does.

Five roads, one new enemy each

The road is the difficulty. Each one up adds one new enemy and one new rule, and those are what you remember. The gunner draws a line to you and fires down it. The warpriest heals everything in his ring. The tusker charges and is dazed when he misses. The blob bursts into three.

Beat Hell and the Depths open: Hell with a number laid over it that keeps going up.

Bring friends

Co-op for up to four. One code, one field, one card screen everybody waits on. Leaderboards, solo and team kept apart.

Rescue a princess and she hands you a curse for next time. Sixteen of them, opt-in, stackable. Every curse you turn on pays more gems. Every gem goes into the paths at home: Attack, Survive, Explore.
