Descripción original de Steam
Checkmate the king. Or paint your way to victory.
SHOGITOON is a competitive board game that combines shogi—Japanese chess—with a colorful battle for territory.
Move your pieces and paint the squares they threaten in your color.
Your goal is to checkmate your opponent’s king—but that’s not the only way to win.
Once all 81 squares are painted, the player whose color covers more of the board wins!
Capture a piece. Protect your king. Change the color of the game.
A battle for checkmate can suddenly become a race for territory.
Falling behind in paint coverage? A checkmate can still turn the game around.
Discover a new path to victory in a familiar game of strategy.
Meet 20 opponents, each with a personality of their own.
Humans, cats, and foxes are ready to challenge you!
Each CPU opponent brings a different approach to attack and defense.
Start with a beginner-friendly opponent, or challenge whichever character catches your eye. Play at your own pace.
Beat a character to earn a completion mark, and keep track of your results against each opponent.
Collect seven achievements and take on the challenge of defeating all 20 characters.
Play solo or challenge a friend.
Face the CPU, enjoy local matches on the same device, or play online.
Japanese-inspired visuals and lively paint effects bring every match to life.
What will your next move paint?
Please note: In-game text is available in Japanese only.
