About This Game
Embers of Eternal Night is a gothic dark-fantasy, top-down survival action game. Under the light of a blood moon, the dead have risen from the ruins. Take control of a hunter with a distinct combat style, evade encircling hordes, and automatically strike nearby enemies as the dangers of the eternal night continue to escalate.
Each hunter features a unique weapon, attack rhythm, and progression path. Unleash the Ashen Ronin’s swift iai slashes, harvest souls as the Soul Reaper, or freeze entire groups of enemies as the Frosttide Witch. Collect weapons, modules, and relics to create powerful synergies and shape a different combat build during every expedition.
Shape Your Build, One Choice at a Time
Defeat enemies and collect experience, then choose one of three randomized upgrades when you level up. Strengthen weapons, gain blessings, or take on a cursed relic's trade-off to shape your build throughout the run.
Your Hunt Begins at the Main Menu
Choose an unlocked hunter, expedition map, and difficulty, then review your starting weapon and abilities before setting out. Unlock more characters and challenges as you play, and return to the eternal night with a new approach.
