About the game
A bird on your desk. Hatched by you.
Type 'n Hatch is a tiny hand-drawn companion that lives at the edge of your screen. Every key you press, in any app, cracks the egg sitting on that key. Write an email, finish a chapter, grind through a spreadsheet: crack by crack, little birds hatch and settle in among your keys.No grinding, no stress, nothing to lose. Just a small friend that shows up when you do.
What's inside
- Hatch a flock of desk birds that hop from key to key, sit a while, and react when you pet them.
- Pomodoro tomatoes to slice your day into focused sessions. Every session you finish drops a ripe tomato into your jar.
- A CRT typing race: a retro mini-game to warm up your fingers and chase your best time.
- Magic words hidden in everyday typing. Type the right one and something small and delightful happens.
- Hand-drawn everything, animated frame by frame by one person.
Made to sit quietly beside your work
Type 'n Hatch is not a game you sit down to play. It is a game that keeps you company while you do everything else. Leave it in the corner, glance over when you need a breather, and watch your flock grow as the days go by.Made by a solo developer at the Thinking Pixel.
