About the game
Pierwszoosobowy symulator immersyjny osadzony w 1989 roku, w norweskiej wiosce nad fiordem. Przybywasz z 1450 koronami i bez miejsca do spania. Zapracuj na pokój albo włamuj się, kradnij, poluj i podpalaj. Każdy może umrzeć, a wioska zapamięta, kto to zrobił.

Norway, 1989. The bus drops you above a fjord village with a tent, a bag and 1450 kroner. Nobody is expecting you.
Find somewhere to stay
Read the notes on the board outside the shop and ring the numbers from a phone box. Split firewood for a neighbour, pack fish into crates at the quay, wash plates at the hotel. Save up for a room, pitch your tent at the campground, or sleep in a boathouse until the owner finds you there.
The village notices
People keep their own hours, and they remember what they see.
- Break into a house and the owner counts what's missing when they get home. If anyone saw you, the lensmann hears about it
- A neighbour can ring for help, unless you cut the phone line first
- Set a house on fire and the volunteer fire brigade turns out
- Anyone can die, the lensmann too. The village carries on without them, and it remembers who did it
- Something is killing the sheep up at Lia, and the farmers are loading their rifles
Get by however you can
- Pick a lock with a paper clip, force it with a chisel or climb in through a window
- Hunt deer in the woods, or fish the fjord and sell your catch
- Borrow a moped without asking, hotwire a car or row out to the island
The days are getting shorter and winter is coming. Utkant is Norwegian for "the outskirts". It is a solo project in development.
