About the game
Canberra Bushfires 2003 is a top-down 2D hex grid turn-based strategy game with a procedurally generated map. Each turn you will direct the strategy and positioning of various fire-fighting assets in an effort to protect the city.
Original Steam description
Canberra Bushfires 2003 recreates the race to save a city of 300,000 people from an out-of-control bushfire, with only modest resources and minimal time. Make best use of the assets available to slow the fire until reinforcements arrive, whilst racing to build firebreaks and containment lines.
The game three different difficulty levels and five different scenarios, covering different levels of weather, reinforcements, third party assistance, and fire intensity.
Random events include helicopter crashes, reinforcements, loss of water supplies, wind direction changes, and firenadoes.
