Your job is simple: review citizens' case files and decide whether to accept or reject them, following the regulations.
The problem? You never know whether yesterday's regulations still apply to today's people.

A Rulebook that keeps growing relentlessly — salary thresholds, regional blacklists, parties "approved by the regime... er, by the Party currently in power," and increasingly nitpicky criteria to cross-check against each other

ANSIA takes ispiration from Papers, Please and drops it straight into the sheer absurdity of Italian bureaucracy: forms upon forms, exceptions to exceptions, and the constant feeling that today's rule contradicts yesterday's
