A neighborhood shop, one hot bowl at a time

Put on your apron and run a cozy malatang shop, serving Chinese soup bowls made with each customer’s choice of ingredients. Work your way from the ingredient shelves to the stove, then bring a freshly cooked bowl to the table.

Pick, weigh, chop and cook

Follow each order, drain and weigh the basket, and check the broth, spice level and ingredients to leave out. Chop the ingredients yourself and add them to the pot in stages. Stir, watch the heat, drain and season before serving.

There is more to the day than cooking

Buy supplies, restock shelves, set menu prices and keep the shop clean. Make change, verify payments and check takeaway collection codes. Review the day’s results and decide what your shop needs next.

Grow at your own pace

Unlock 16 recipes, upgrade equipment and improve the shop’s interior. Track business milestones and in-game achievements, work through your first week’s goals, and keep opening for business afterward. Choose your hairstyle, outfit and apron, and give the shop a style you like.

Work solo or share the shift

Play alone or run the same shop with up to four players in LAN co-op. Share restocking, preparation and handoffs while working toward the same business goals. Co-op connects by entering the host’s address. Steam friend invitations and automatic relay are not currently available; the session ends when the host leaves.
