Castle Paint is a casual battle game where you paint a white hexagonal floor in your own color and fight over castles. Beyond the matches lie island minigames, puzzles, and your own home base, where the seasons and weather change.

Paint Battles

• Walk across the floor to turn the hex tiles your color
  
• Paint castles, barracks, and cannons to claim them
  
• Infantry, archers, medics, and mages march out of your barracks, painting white tiles and fighting enemies
  
• Place walls, jump pads, and dash pads to build routes and block your rivals
  
• Open treasure chests and pick 1 of 3 cards: buffs, sabotage, special placements (railguns, elevators, and more), and transformations (spider, horse, turtle, dragon)
  
• Score is based on painted tiles and captured castles. Paint every tile and castle to win on the spot

8 stages, including Flatland, Rice Terraces, Dam Wall, and Container Port.

Solo or Together

• Solo: learn the controls against CPU opponents with different personalities
  
• Online: battles for up to 6 players
  
• Gamepad supported (keyboard & mouse work great too)

The Plaza and Minigames

Past the title screen lies a wide plaza of seas, hills, mountains, and floating sky gardens. On the islands, enjoy minigames beyond painting, such as the Dragon Gate and Spider Gate. In the puzzle areas, take on full-paint challenges or play community stages.

Your Home Base

Your home base has a shopkeeper who lives by a daily schedule: morning radio exercises at the gym, then minding the shop.

• At the gym, copy the ghost coach's exercises to light up puzzle tiles
  
• In the music room, sing back the ghost pianist's melody to color everyone's puzzle and the walls
  
• The sky, weather, cherry blossoms, and autumn leaves follow your region and the real time of day

Daily Log

The terminal in your home base charts what you played (minigames, puzzles, exercise, music, and more) over 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, and 1 year.

In VR or On Screen

Everything is playable without a headset. With a VR headset (SteamVR / OpenXR), you can hold objects in your hands, sit down, and transform from a hand menu.

Create and Play

Use the stage editor to build your own painting puzzles. Try out layouts and gimmicks, and leave challenges of your own.

About Generative AI

Character 3D models and textures were made with Tripo AI from the developer's original images (the gym ghost is based on a model by Flick, used with permission; its ghost design was adapted with ChatGPT and then converted to 3D with Tripo AI). UI icons, card illustrations, backgrounds (sky, grass), some textures, and the key art were made with ChatGPT / DALL·E. All were reviewed and adjusted by the developer. No content is generated by AI during gameplay.
