About the game
A roguelite deckbuilder where your town is the reward. The kingdom has faded to grey ink, and every artefact you bring home paints one colour back. Your deck dies with the run, the town never does. Out there, place your cards and watch them fight on their own.
Original Steam description
Beyond Realm is a roguelite deckbuilder set in two worlds: a kingdom drained to grey ink, and the wild, bright lands beyond its portal. One purse of gold for the whole expedition. What will your survival cost?
The realm has lost its colours. A portal opened at its edge, and on the other side the world is still bright. The king is sending you through to bring the colours home.
Bring the colours home. Every artefact you carry home paints one colour back into the city. Mine, fort, church, inn, merchant, magic tower, campfire. Every building weighs on the next departure. Nothing starts from zero: the city remembers every victory.
Explore a map that reveals itself tile by tile. A fight, a shop, an event... or worse. One step too far, and it all comes down.
Beyond the portal, let your cards do the fighting. Place your creatures, cast your spells, end the turn. The fight resolves on its own: the thinking happens before. Combine fire, water, air and nature into a composition that sends the numbers off the charts. The enemy obeys the same rules, and one bad placement costs the win.
Build the deck that survives what comes next. Over 200 cards to unlock, one hero and one emissary at your side. Before each departure you choose what enters the deck and what stays in reserve.

One purse, five acts, no safety net. Gold never refills: every creature you play draws on what is left for the whole expedition. At the end of every act, a crossroads: bank what you carried and head home, or push on into the next act.
