About the game
"Among the finest dancers was Lady Gongsun, whose sword dance astounded audiences in every direction." — Du Fu, "On Watching a Disciple of Gongsun Daniang Perform the Sword Dance"
Sword Dancer is a route-planning × roguelite strategy game inspired by the sword dance of Tang Dynasty China. You don't fight in real time—you choreograph. Before the enemy moves, your dance is already set. Plot Gongsun Daniang's path through the enemy ranks, then watch her carry it out, one blade-stroke at a time.
Plan First, Dance Later
Every step, every strike is placed by your hand before the action unfolds. Whether the dance you envisioned matches what actually happens—that is the suspense at the heart of every routine.
Build Your Own Routine
Roguelite in-run growth: collect and combine skills across each dance, and watch the same routine grow sharper every time.
