Mask Splitters

Mask Splitters is a dynamic action party game where you play as a powerful ninja with advanced combat techniques. Master your arsenal and become a Mask Splitter!

The game takes place during an ancient war between different clans represented by 4 distinct masks:
Fox, Tengu, Oni and Samurai.

Only one ninja can stop this war by showing the true power of their skills. Will you be the one?

In each match, your goal is to kill other players to obtain points. First player to 10 points wins. Here are some of the techniques at your disposal:

• Shoot: Charge your bow and shoot an arrow. The longer you charge the bow the faster your arrow will be.

• Teleport: Teleport to the position of your arrow.

• Recall: Make an arrow fly back to you, going through walls and killing unaware opponents.

• Melee Attack: Cut in half the mask of players that get too close.

Explore the world of Mask Splitters by traveling to the Starlit Village and the Sky Temple.
24 maps across 2 distinct visual themes.

The battlefield is scattered with interactable map elements.

Discover and learn how to use the 8 map elements:

• Bush: hide in them to ambush opponents. 

• Explosive Barrel: cause a large explosion.

• Gong: it reflects arrows, players, barrels and chickens. Use it to find new angles when aiming.

• Void: watch your step to avoid falling into the sea of clouds.

• Chicken: it chases players and confuses them.

• Rotating doors: when hit, they turn by 90 degrees or 180 degrees.

• Timed rotating door: it turns automatically every 5 seconds.

• Sliding door: shoot an arrow on it and watch it move as it slides along its rail.

Use the Game Modes, or Presets as they are called in-game, to play Mask Splitters how you want to.

The Bow Only, Melee Only, and Chaos presets will give you a break from your training. Explore them and find your favorite one!

And if you don’t like any of them, you can create and modify your own rules!

You can play locally with up to 4 players, and you can also play with CPUs. Good luck beating the Ninja difficulty! The game also supports Steam Remote Play to play online with your Steam friends.

Mask Splitters started as a student project at Isart Digital, then continued development with BadRez Games. There are no major updates planned for now, (only bug fixes).
