About the game

Original Steam description
Crash-landed on Mars
Your rescue pod slams into the Martian surface in the middle of the night. Outside: dust, freezing cold and an oxygen supply that won't last forever. Fight your way to the habitat by rover – and turn an abandoned outpost into your survival base.
Solo or with up to 3 friends
ARUS-1 is built for online co-op. Split the work: one of you scouts with the rover, one expands the power grid, one keeps the drill running. Or face Mars on your own.
A world waiting to be explored
Beyond your base lies a vast, open Martian landscape: layered cliffs, mesas, craters and endless rock fields. On foot or by rover, you push ever deeper into uncharted territory – searching for resources, answers and whatever Mars is hiding.
Build. Supply. Survive.
- Explore ARUS Valley on foot and by rover – cliffs, craters and rock fields with a realistic Martian look.
- Build solar arrays, batteries, drills and refineries and connect them into working supply networks.
- Extract water from ice and secure oxygen and power for your base.
- Research new technologies and prepare your own satellite missions.
Research opens new paths
What begins as emergency life support grows into a true colony. Through research you unlock new buildings, facilities and technologies step by step – and with them, ever more ways to expand your base and venture further into Mars.
When the sandstorm hits
Mars doesn't forgive mistakes. Sandstorms black out the sky and cripple your solar fields. Now you have to decide which systems keep their power – and which don't.
You are not alone
A strange drone. Traces of a mission nobody was ever supposed to know about. ARUS, your base AI, has questions – and Mars has answers you won't like.
ARUS-1 is being developed by a solo developer in Unreal Engine 5. Add it to your wishlist so you don't miss any news.
