About the game

Spinstack is a single-player stacking puzzle game. Rotate the square base to guide falling tetrominoes, complete concentric rings, and trigger inward collapses and chain clears. Choose from four modes, master special blocks, build Combos, and chase higher scores as the board expands.

Original Steam description

Overview

Spinstack is a single-player strategic stacking and clearing game. Pieces enter from above the board, and you rotate the concentric square base to decide which edge they fall toward. Complete a full square ring from the fourth layer outward to clear it. Floating pieces then collapse toward the center, creating opportunities for powerful chain reactions.

Design

Build outward around an indestructible core and carefully manage the growing board. Layers 0–3 form the permanent core and can never be cleared. Layer 4 and beyond can be completed and removed.

The game features the standard seven tetrominoes: I, O, T, S, Z, L, and J. Choose the base direction during the decision phase, adjust the piece while it falls, and rotate the piece or base depending on the selected mode.

Features

  • Concentric square board with inward-collapse physics

  • Clear complete rings and trigger chain reactions

  • Multi-ring, Combo, chain, and special-effect scoring

  • Four modes: Basic, Advanced, Fun, and Challenge

  • Three special blocks in Fun Mode:

    • Blast: clears a surrounding 3×3 area

    • Ray: clears an entire horizontal line

    • Prism: clears all blocks of the same color

  • Dynamic cloud background and rotating stack visuals

  • Chinese and English language support

Tagline

Rotate the base, stack your pieces, complete concentric rings, and chase massive chains as the board collapses inward.
