About the game

Fight your way out of an isolated desert cult in a physics-driven vehicular combat roguelite. Drift, shoot, unleash abilities and upgrade a roster of weaponized rides as you uncover the alien secrets hidden within your former home.

Original Steam description

Freaky Wheels is a physics-driven vehicular combat roguelite where driving, shooting and chaos all collide.

It’s the early ’90s. Morgan has spent his whole life inside an isolated cult hidden between the desert mountains.

Then one routine delivery exposes a secret he was never meant to see. Something the cult has kept buried for years. Now the gates are closed, his own people are hunting him, and the only way out is behind the wheel.

  • Physics-Driven Combat: Drift, boost, jump and blast your way through enemy vehicles using an arsenal of weapons, gadgets and abilities.

  • Environmental Mayhem: Turn every fight into an unpredictable physics-driven mess and use the world around you to your advantage.

  • The Garage: Gather Scraps by bringing valuables back for disposal. Head inside to prepare for whatever the cult throws at you next, upgrade your weapons, armor and nitro, unlock new vehicles and customize their appearance.

  • Roguelite Progression: Build up your arsenal throughout each run, but choose your risks carefully. Death wipes your weapons, abilities and upgrades, while your vehicle unlocks and permanent progression stay with you.

  • Dangerous Quests: Haul fragile cargo, survive cult attacks, clear cult bases and face oversized bosses as you uncover what they’ve really been hiding in the desert.

  • Endgame: Complete the story to unlock new Endgame challenges and see how far your strongest builds can go.
