The Final Days

Introduction

You step out of a cryogenic pod, woken by the A.R.C.'s automated assisstant. Looking left you see an assortment of vacant pods and pods labelled with "Deceased". To the right, a mix mostly labelled as "Deceased", the rest "Stable". The cryogenic pods stretch on making you wonder how far they truely go. However, you're interrupted by an arriving monorail train. Embarking on the monorail, you are taken to the front of the ship, in hopes of finding some answers...

The Aim

Take control of the A.R.C. (Astro Relocation Cruiser) V1220 Colony Ship and use it's many built in features to search and scan for a new home that will house the billions of people who are asleep in cyrogenic storage.

However, after a few days of exploring the dying universe, you start to wonder if there will ever be a suitable home.

Every part of the ship is controlled with interactable buttons, levers and dials, with the singular "touch screen" console. All of which are controlled by using the mouse.

You, the player, must use these simple interactable elements to control the complex systems that control the whole A.R.C. ship. Ranging from simply diverting more power to the ship's thrusters, piloting the ship through the endless void of space using navigational buttons or actively controlling the stability of the A.R.C.'s built in nuclear reactor, of which, powers the entire ship.

During calm moments you'll be able to take a break and cruise smoothly. During the more fast paced moments, you'll be running back and forth between many consoles while also making sure every system works to the best it can be.

Your mission is to successfully find and encounter a suitable living space, preferably a planet, where the A.R.C. can rest and safely wake up it's inhabitants to allow humanity to thrive once again.
