Epica Primera: Guardians of the Forest

Overview

Epica Primera is a turn-based combat RPG adventure with language-crafting features. Throughout the game, you will be able to explore the forest and encounter events. These events can feature characters you can interact with to discover their inner desires. Once you understand their desires, you can fulfill them using spells.

Spells

Spells in this game are made using syntactic components of an ancient magical language. Each component of a sentence represents a different effect:

• Pronouns => Change Target

• Noun => Amplifies or diminishes effects depending on target preferences.

• Verb => Detects if a target can be affected by the spell.

• Mood => Type system based on emotions.

Of course, you can also choose the path of violence and attack them to exorcise them.

Spells require tokens to be cast. Once a witch runs out of tokens, she will be unable to act.

Curses

Be careful with CURSES. They will affect your character stats. You can be cursed by ghosts after interactions, combat, or random events. Curses can only be removed in certain safe spots, so manage them carefully

Deyanira is a normal schoolgirl who gets transported into a strange forest. She is confused and cannot remember the last moments before being transported while trying to understand where she is now. After searching for some hours, she finds Marcela, a strange girl wearing a robe who seems to be much more comfortable in that place.

Marcela explains that she used a spell to summon Deyanira to help her carry out an important mission: to bring the Egg of the Forest to the School of Magic. However, the forest is full of dangerous ghosts that will try to kill them no matter what.

Why did she summon a normal girl? Now both are in danger and do not know what happened. Can they survive the dangers of the forest?"
