A Red Specter Haunts the World

In this game, you play as a communist specter roaming the world. Starting with the founding of the Party, you will spread ideology right under the noses of the reactionaries, continuously raise the class consciousness of the masses, recruit like-minded people, train Party cadres and grassroots members, raise funds, and secretly build up armed forces. At the right moment, you will launch an uprising, ultimately seize power, let the red flag fly across the world, and realize a world of universal harmony.

Both the propagation of ideas and armed struggle are implemented using advanced mathematics, including stochastic processes, differential equations, empirical Bayesian models, and a small reinforcement learning neural network. Your primary tasks are to select a location to establish the Party, activate the “Red Gene,” determine the Party’s priorities and the location of the armed uprising; decide whether to collect experience from a specific armed struggle to modify the neural network; issue central commands directing the armed forces to launch an offensive; collect resource bubbles; manage the expansion of armed forces and the consumption of funds and supplies.

The game is divided into two phases. The first phase is ideological propaganda, where the primary objectives are to strengthen the Party organization, awaken the masses’ class consciousness, and select appropriate locations and timing for uprisings. The second phase is armed struggle, during which we will engage in full-scale conflict with the reactionaries, using revolutionary terror to overwhelm counterrevolutionary terror. We must ensure the victory of the uprising, defend our base areas, and expand them until the red flag flies across the entire world.
