A good defense starts before the first wave.
In Muster & Magic, recruit a company, position your defenders, and face medieval fantasy hordes in pixel art. Your allies fight on their own, but the decisions are yours: who to hire, where to hold the front line, how to spend your gold, and when to intervene with a spell.
Start each run with one of three Champions. Pip turns your company's kills into extra gold. Bram holds the front line and strikes enemies in an area. Alden focuses arcane bursts on a single target. Pick your starting strength and build your company around it.

Shield your archers with knights, keep healers close to allies who need them, and make room for support and gold-generating units. Between waves, recruit, reposition, and buy upgrades. Do you need more soldiers now, or stronger ones already on the field?
As you progress, unlock new allies, from ice and lightning specialists to a necromancer who turns the fallen into reinforcements. Perk cards change your company during a run and let you experiment with new combinations.
Fire arrows from your castle and spend shared mana on Meteor, Ice Nova, and Holy Guard. Strike groups with area damage, freeze ordinary enemies, or keep your allies alive through a brief window of protection. The right timing can save a formation under pressure.
Earn Realm Points for completed waves and invest in an extensive branching skill tree between runs. Unlock units, specialize archetypes, and strengthen your strategy. Refund your allocated points for free to try a different path.
Follow Pip, Bram, and Alden through a campaign told in comic-style scenes. Beat increasingly demanding difficulties, face bosses with their own mechanics, and reach Hard mode's final battle. Then test your company's limits in Unlimited mode, with escalating waves and recurring boss encounters.
