TRENCHWORMS is a fast, real time arena shooter inspired by Liero. Every worm moves and fights at once, there are no turns to wait through. Dig a route beneath your rival, fire through their cover, or launch yourself across the arena with a ninja rope.

Make the battlefield yours

Fight across 20 arenas: 10 with destructible dirt to tunnel through and 10 open, rope focused maps built for swinging and mid air battles. Blast terrain away, navigate indestructible obstacles, or use the Dirt Cannon to build new ground and cover. Even in a no dirt arena.

Play your way

• Take on a 15 mission revenge campaign with illustrated briefings, escalating fights, weapon rewards and a final boss.

• Battle AI opponents on your own, or play locally with two people sharing a keyboard.

• Bring 2-6 players together on controllers for same screen battles.

• Play LAN duels, or join Steam matches with up to six participants and optional AI bots.

• Find a match through Quick Play, browse public games, or create a named public or private Steam lobby.

Choose the fight

Steam multiplayer includes 1v1 duels, free for all deathmatch, 2v2 and 3v3 Team Deathmatch, and 2v2 and 3v3 Capture the Flag. Hosts can adjust bots and their difficulty, lives, including unlimited lives, match length, flags needed to win, faster weapon cooldowns and rising lava sudden death timer.

Bring your own arsenal

Build a five weapon loadout from an arsenal of 26. Send out Spider Mines, fire drilling rockets, unleash heavy explosives or reshape the arena with the Dirt Cannon. Health, weapon and mystery pickups can turn a match around or make it much stranger.

TRENCHWORMS also includes adjustable graphics and audio settings, keyboard and controller bindings, Steam achievements and Steam Cloud support.
