Stone Gambit is a fantasy turn-based strategy game that expands on the familiar foundations of chess: a 10×10 board, 20 pieces in your army, 12 unit types, ranged attacks, and crystal runes that can turn an empty board into a maze of fortifications and traps.

Dragons fly over defenses, Archers strike from afar, Cavalry leaps over formations, and siege engines can control entire lanes.

Here, the first move begins before the match does.

YOU'VE BEEN PREPARED FOR THIS GAME YOUR ENTIRE LIFE

The Seven Great Clans of Veldrun have been at war for a century. Now, with a new threat looming over the weakened Empire, its fate will be decided by an ancient ritual — the Stone Gambit.

You represent the Sun Citrine Clan — the weakest of the Seven.

But you are not here by chance.

Since childhood, you have been taught the art of the Gambit by your own great-grandfather — the Archon of Veldrun. He taught you to position your pieces, read your opponent, and always think several moves ahead.

Now you must complete the Stone Gambit and face 23 opponents from the Seven Clans, each with their own personality, army, and playstyle.

The only question is how many moves ahead the Archon himself was thinking.

SHAPE THE BATTLEFIELD

Before each match, both sides secretly deploy their armies and crystal runes. You won't know what your opponent has prepared until deployment is complete.

Block routes, create narrow passages, and prepare positions for your ranged units in advance.

USE EACH PIECE TO ITS FULL POTENTIAL

Your army features 12 unit types with different ways to move and attack: from Swordsmen and Cavalry to Dragons, Elephants, Archers, and heavy siege engines.

Break through formations, strike from a distance, leap over obstacles, and control lanes across the board — your army's true strength lies in combining the abilities of its pieces.

THERE'S MORE THAN ONE WAY TO WIN

Destroy the enemy King. Leave them without an army. Or gain the advantage before time runs out.

Special conditions and challenges change the familiar rules of battle, while the crystals you earn unlock new possibilities between fights.

Positions, armies, and objectives change — but the need to think several moves ahead remains.
