Will you keep your guests safe till morning?
Deep in a mushroom forest stands a small guest house. You are its keeper. Guests arrive by day, and every one of them needs a key to their little house. But not everyone at your window is who they claim to be.
By day — welcome the guests
- Ring the bell and meet each visitor at the window
- Compare their papers with the booking journal
- Hand over the right key from the board
- Something doesn't match? Pull the lever — and the grate drops on the changeling
By night — keep the fire
When the sun sets, the village goes quiet. Too quiet.
The lanterns by the doors must burn until dawn — no one remembers why, but everyone remembers what happened when they didn't.
Something small giggles in the bushes. Something big breathes between the trees.
Keep your candle close. Never let it go out.
