Grandpa Sam's adventures is a chaotic pixel-art action platformer designed for up to 4 players in local couch co-op. Choose your character, fight your way through hordes of enemies, collect diamonds, unlock upgrades and use powerful runes to build your own playstyle.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 4-Player Couch Co-op

Grab up to three friends and play together on the same PC. Every character has their own weapon, abilities and upgrade path, so working together can make a big difference.

⚔️ 16 Unique Characters

Choose from 16 playable characters, each with their own weapons, abilities and upgrades.

Whether you prefer fighting up close, shooting enemies from a distance, healing your friends or summoning creatures to fight for you, there is a character for you.

🔮 22 Runes

Collect and unlock 22 active and passive runes.

Choose your runes before starting a game and combine them with your character's abilities to create different ways of fighting.

🌍 16 Maps Across 3 Worlds

Fight your way through 16 maps spread across 3 worlds. Maps are unlocked as you progress, with each new stage bringing new enemies and challenges.

The game also features different difficulty levels. Higher difficulties make enemies stronger, but also reward you with more diamonds.

💎 Permanent Upgrades

Complete maps to earn diamonds and spend them in the shop on permanent upgrades.

Your purchased upgrades and unlocked runes stay with you, so you can gradually make your characters stronger as you progress through the game.

🏃 Survival Mode

Think you can survive?

Survival Mode features 4 dedicated maps, each containing 10 rounds of enemies. Between rounds, you'll earn money that can be used to purchase upgrades and recruit helpers.

You can hire a farmer and a farmer girl to fight alongside you. If they fall in battle, they return after a short time and are ready to help again.

👹 Lots of Enemies

Fight your way through hordes of goblins and other strange creatures.

You'll encounter many different types of enemies, including melee and ranged goblins, armored goblins, frogs, snails, bats, eagles, boars and more.

Some enemies have special abilities, such as summoning other creatures, healing their allies or protecting themselves with armor.

And of course, you'll have to face powerful bosses along the way.

Grandpa Sam's adventures is our first game.

I made this game as an independent 2 developer while learning game development, pixel art and Godot. It's far from a perfect game, but I put a lot of time and love into making it.

I hope you have fun playing it — especially with a few friends sitting next to you on the couch.
