The Adventures of Portos

A charming 2d hide and seek platformer with humour, chaotic moments, and unique events.

Portos the dog gets separated from his owner after chasing a squirrel and now has to find his way back to him. The anxious Portos faces tonnes of enemies as he tries to make his way homeward bound. The game makes a great effort to help the player connect with the dog and experience some of these anxious frustrating events whilst enjoying music from multiple genres and power ups to make Portos get the zoomies. Totally recommend playing it with friends and trying to beat the levels together.

You will need to search throughout 36 levels to find the bone that helps Portos the dog become one step closer to finding his owner. There are 6 bosses along the way with 6 secret bosses to find. At times enemies can be randomised along with their movements making great replay value. The soundtrack is an eclectic mix of different genres for every chapter and boss, leading to some memorable moments and encounters.

There are also 5 power ups you may find during your playthroughs that make each run feel unique. Once you have completed the story, hard mode awaits along with a speedrun mode for those who want to get their best time. Completing different bosses and modes can lead to you finding alternate skins for your character, giving you a reason to make sure you complete all the challenges the game holds. There is also an easy mode for those who would like to deal with the platform aspects of the game more so than the enemies. It will take you approximately somewhere between 3 and 20 hours to complete the game depending on your skill level and how well you deal with some of the ragebaiting aspects.

The real challenge is managing 1 level per minute on the speedrun! All the best.
