President FC: Football Club Owner is a football management game about running your own club, on and off the pitch. Start small in the lower leagues, find the players and build a team that can climb. Develop homegrown talent and decide how to invest in the club that supports them. How you balance building the team and developing the club is up to you.

Discover youngsters from the U9 age group and develop your academy. Follow their progress towards professional football, decide who earns a contract and give your club a homegrown future. Young players’ potential becomes clearer as they grow; success is never guaranteed.

The academy spans U9–U16. Some U15–U16 prospects can gain experience in U18 matches before becoming professionals. Alongside first-team football, the game includes U21 and U18 competitions and B teams, with structures depending on the country.

A bigger stadium, better training facilities or your next signing? Balance transfer fees, wages and running costs while developing the foundations of your club.

Scout young professionals, including prospects aged 16–20. Commission detailed reports, with assessment accuracy shaped by your scouting facilities. Develop a promising signing and sell at the right time, build around them, or invest in established stars for a title push.

Make the deal that fits your club

Build a shortlist, negotiate transfer fees and player contracts, renew key players and consider loans. Look beyond the fee to wages and contract length. Other clubs also buy and sell, so your recruitment plans unfold in a changing market.

Matchday decisions

Hire a manager to select the team and handle matches, then judge the results. Want to take a more active role in a key match? Pick the starting eleven before kick-off, change formation and make substitutions as the match unfolds. Your intervention can strain the relationship with the manager, making trust another part of running the club.

Grow beyond your home ground

Open youth camps abroad to discover local talent and prospects your network finds at other clubs. Acquire eligible clubs to build an affiliate network. Invest in their facilities and send young professionals on loan to gain playing time. Give talent a route towards your first team.

Affiliate clubs remain under AI management. You invest in the network and create opportunities for your players without having to manage every affiliate’s matches yourself.

Build a club with a story

As you advance, league seasons, transfers and player careers continue across the simulated football world, with a large population of players to discover. Domestic cups, continental club competitions, a global club tournament and continental and world national-team tournaments give that world a wider stage. Follow competition awards and look back through player, club and league statistics, season records and career histories.

Take your time with the details, or move through seasons more quickly. Play for a few seasons, or keep building for decades—even hundreds of seasons. You set the pace.

• Six facility areas: training, fitness, academy, medical, scouting and commercial. Choose which part of your club needs the next investment.
  
• The business behind the badge: sponsorship deals, transfer and wage budgets, cash flow and operating costs. Supporters’ confidence and club events give decisions consequences beyond the balance sheet.
  
• A season to prepare for: choose training priorities, manage fitness and injury concerns, and plan pre-season preparation and friendlies. Development takes time as well as investment.
  
• Fund long-term development partnerships with football federations in eligible nations. These agreements help raise the potential of new generations of young players from that country, reaching beyond your own academy and camps. It is an investment whose impact unfolds over seasons as those players grow into the game.
  
• Start another career with the same president to carry over earned experience, then choose skills to suit that save and try a different route to success.

Use the editor to customise clubs, players, league and competition names, pictures and logos. Create, import and export edit packs to shape your own football world. Data changes apply when starting a new career.

Steam Workshop support is planned to make sharing and installing community creations easier. It is still in development.
