Dread of the Deep

Waves of creatures emerge from the darkness and attack from every direction. Turn your beam to aim your weapons, choose which side to defend, and collect the loot they leave behind. After each wave, return to the shop to buy weapons and upgrades before facing the next wave.

Combine weapons to make them stronger, or sacrifice one weapon to force its traits onto another. Some weapons can steal tags from sacrificed weapons, opening up combinations they couldn't normally use. Certain traits can trigger other weapons, letting one weapon trigger another and creating entire chains of effects.

Between runs, spend Talent Points in a sprawling 200+ node branching tree. Choose paths like Offense, Utility, Economy, or Defense, then branch into specialized talents and capstones that can reshape how a build works.

Some talents even unlock new weapons and items, changing what can appear in future runs. Respec freely and save your builds as you experiment with different ways to survive the deep.

Unlock different lighthouses with their own rules, strengths, and weaknesses. Each lighthouse changes the rules of a run, opening up new strategies, mechanics, and builds.

Discover corrupted items that pull your lighthouse into different realms. Push deeper into a story path and the sea itself begins to change, along with the horrors rising from it and the boss waiting below.
