Altstadt

About the game
A tiny old town that grows under your hands. Set down a house, then another, let a canal wander through, and stay for dusk, when the windows light up one by one. Nothing to manage. Just building.
Original Steam description
Altstadt is a little town builder for slow evenings. Put down a house, then another, and watch them settle in next to each other: sharing walls, tipping their roofs together, opening doors onto the lane.
There’s nothing to manage and nothing to lose. You can’t build it wrong. Just keep nudging it until it feels like a place.
Let a canal wander between the houses and throw a stone bridge across it. Tuck a garden into the corner nobody else would use.
Then sit back. Villagers wander out, sparrows land on the rooftops, and when dusk comes the windows light up one by one. That part never gets old.
Your town saves as you go, so you can come back tomorrow and add one more house. You will.
