Baka Tao is a short Filipino horror experience inspired by roadside stories, Filipino culture, and the unsettling feeling that something familiar may be hiding something much darker.
THE PROLOGUE
Take the role of a young man on a road trip with his girlfriend. What begins as a simple journey through the countryside takes an unexpected turn, leading you away from the road and into an unfamiliar environment.
The Baka Tao Prologue serves as a standalone introduction to the world and story of the game.
FEATURES
First-person horror — Experience the story directly through the eyes of the protagonist.
Exploration — Search your surroundings for clues and follow environmental details as the story develops.
Atmospheric horror — Experience a grounded Filipino setting filled with environmental sounds, isolation, darkness, and unsettling encounters.
Story-driven gameplay — Follow a linear narrative where exploration and interaction gradually reveal the events surrounding the protagonist.
Short cinematic experience — Designed as a focused horror prologue with an estimated playtime of approximately 20 minutes.
