Character Introduction
Duanmu Fenghuang
"With sword in hand I leave the immortal gate today — the first to shatter the heavens and tread the highest sky."
The young heir of a cultivation clan. He entered the sect at eight, trained in the secret realm at sixteen, and was destined to ascend before twenty. Innocent and kind-hearted, yet burdened by a heavy fate, he seeks his own Dao through repeated loss and impossible choices.
Xi Duanhong
"Beyond a thousand peaks, across seas of cloud, she snaps the rainbow between her fingers."
The foremost disciple of the Cloud Mist Sect and daughter of its late sect master. Bright, outgoing, and obsessed with martial arts novels, she dreams of jianghu glory. After her father's death, she inherits the sect's leadership — outwardly strong, but harboring a vulnerability she reveals to no one.
Luo Feng
"A demonic star descends upon the world, bringing chaos to all under heaven."
A demon princess of mixed human and demon blood. Cold and proud, poor with words, yet willing to die for her companions when it matters most. The agony of killing her own father with her own hands forced her to grow overnight into the new Demon Sovereign.
Fei Ling
"Where mortals and ghosts converge, heaven and earth come to an end."
A child of both human and ghost, rising from common origins. Outwardly gentle and kind, with extraordinary culinary skills, she carries twenty-two years of hidden resentment. She is the most enigmatic piece on this chessboard — and the most heartbreaking of friends.
Xiao Cui
"Young Master, if you say it isn't so, then I believe you."
Duanmu Fenghuang's personal attendant, who has been by his side since childhood. To stay with him forever, she accepted the power of the Demon Lord — and step by step, sank into the abyss. Between love and obsession, can she find her way back to who she once was?
