Mist Seekers

There's always something better in the mist, and always a reason to take one more step.

But the fuller your pack, the more you stand to lose. Push deeper, or extract now? Every expedition comes down to that choice.

Jumping, wall-climbing and dashing aren't just for getting around. Clear gaps, use the terrain's height, or take a riskier route to reach resources and objectives hidden throughout the zone.

Every piece of loot fills your pack a little more, and raises the price of failure a little higher. You've already found plenty, but something better might be just ahead.

Different routes lead to resources, objectives, hidden areas and far more dangerous ground. Some places are out of reach on your first visit. Rescue lost companions, and Flare's wall jump or Anna's phase stealth will open new paths; a key found in a chest might unlock a door to somewhere deeper.

Finding loot is only the beginning. It's only truly yours once you reach the extraction point and make it out. Low on health with a full pack, the final stretch home is often the most tense part of the whole run. Fall in the mist, and everything you're carrying drops where you fell. You'll get one chance to go back and recover it.

Large enemies force you to combine movement, platforms and your gear all at once. And even after you win the fight, the expedition isn't over until you carry your loot to extraction.

Back at base, turn what you brought home into an edge for the next run: restock and trade with the merchant, have the blacksmith forge gear from blueprints, and grow stronger at the Talent Statue. Pack up, pick your goal, and head into the mist again.
