Description d’origine sur Steam
A video synthesizer you play.
Make patterns. Bend feedback. Let sound move the image. Hex Composer is a real-time visual instrument for video artists, VJs, and musicians. Build patches from oscillators, shapes, text, video sources, and effects, then play the controls while your output stays live. No coding required.
Build a patch. Play the controls.
Start with a factory patch or an oscillator. Add modules and effects to your signal chain, adjust their parameters, and see the result immediately. Save your patches to return to an idea or develop it further.
Turn simple shapes into evolving visuals
Combine geometric patterns, typography, noise, distortion, and video feedback. Use modulation to animate parameters, or drive them with audio levels and frequency bands. Explore subtle movement, rhythmic changes, and dense feedback textures from the same patch.
Record or send your output live
Record the visual output directly to MP4, save a still image, or display it in a separate output window. Send visuals to compatible applications such as Resolume, TouchDesigner, and OBS through Spout on Windows, Syphon on macOS, or NDI. Available integrations depend on your platform and receiving application.
For the studio and the stage
Create live visuals, music artwork, motion loops, backgrounds, and installation material. Hex Composer gives video artists, VJs, and musicians a visual instrument to explore through patching and direct control.
