About the game
Steam
Leaves & Lanterns is a gentle first-person game about the simple joy of tidying up. Sweep and blow drifting autumn leaves into big, satisfying piles, scoop them away, and slowly bring three beautiful places back to life — your suburban home, a walled cottage garden, and a lantern-lit park.
Gather the leaves
Blow glowing maple, oak, birch and ginkgo leaves across the yard, watch heaps form where they gather, and press every new species you find into your Leaf Album.
Light the lanterns
Paper lanterns wait in the dusk of every area. Spend what you've gathered to light them one by one, and watch each place glow warm and gold.
Make it your own
Sell what you gather, upgrade your leaf blowers, and decorate with pumpkins, a scarecrow, a hammock, flower pots and more. Craft cozy autumn keepsakes — garlands, wreaths and pressed-leaf frames — at your own garden workbench.
No pressure, ever
- No timers, no fail states, no enemies — stop any time and leave it tidy.
- Three distinct, hand-built places to wander and tend.
- A warm autumn soundtrack and gentle ambience.
- Set the mood: bright day, golden afternoon, warm dusk, or moonlit night.
Pull up the hammock, light a lantern, and let the afternoon drift by.
