About the game
The Rift Trader is a haggling simulator about a small market stall with impossibly strange stock. Buy from widows, sell to kings, pay the inspector (he's very clear about that), and deal with the street kids and their little schemes. The rift brings the goods, you set the price.
HAGGLE LIKE YOUR LIVING DEPENDS ON IT — BECAUSE IT DOES
Read moods, patience and hidden limits. Push at the right moment, or step back before it's too late.
Every customer has a personality: the old man who grumbles but pays fair, the king who loves being cheated, the inspector who never negotiates.
Trust is currency. Customers remember every deal — for better or worse — and their prices, moods and visits change accordingly.
A MARKET THAT NEVER FORGETS YOUR FACE
Some days bring taxes. Some bring kings. Some bring small hands in the dark.
Build relationships over time. Friends bring gifts, secrets — and occasionally, "borrowed" things.
STOCK THE IMPOSSIBLE
Trade odd goods with odder histories; a coin that always lands on its edge, a bottled cloud, a watch that never ages.
Discover their traits and origins. Every discovery changes an item's worth — and its story.
Fulfill commissions, grow your purse, and turn a humble stall into a local legend.
ONE STALL DIFFERENT UNIVERSES
Dry humor and questionable economics across multiple universes, each one a different adventure.
Wishlist now — the market opens soon.
