Roll Value is a narrative-driven, tabletop-inspired RPG set in the Never-Give-Up Kingdom, brought to the brink of ruin by a dragon's attacks. You guide the decisions of three adventurers. Even if you do nothing, the kingdom's population keeps falling. Whom will you save, what will you put first, and which sacrifices will you accept? Face questions with no right answer, and decide the kingdom's fate.

An AI Game Master, and an Audience Watching

Your guide is Mon, an AI video secretary who serves as game master for the three adventurers. Their adventure is watched by viewers, with comments streaming in as it unfolds.

Traits and Dice Shape the Outcome

Each adventurer has different abilities and traits. Your chosen actions, the character attempting them, and the roll of the dice can all change what happens next.

Even the same decision may lead to a different result depending on who takes action and which traits they possess.

More Than One Way Forward

Volunteering to slay the dragon is not the only way to save the kingdom. Defend a village, track down the dragon egg, confront an old ritual—the decisions you make with limited time and strength shape the events and endings that follow.

Every choice is recorded under five principles:

• Heroic

• Egoistic

• Altruistic

• Normative

• Utilitarian

At the end of the journey, the game looks beyond victory or defeat. It shows what you protected and what you chose, as the tendencies behind your decisions.

The Original Novel: Role Value

Roll Value is based on Role Value, an original novel written by the developer.

Neuer, Yuyu, Kohei, and Mon all appear. Beyond the adventure itself, the novel follows the people who run the game, the viewers watching it, and everyone's everyday lives, told as an ensemble story.

(And no, "Role" isn't a typo.)
