About the game
Steal the gods' words and write the laws of your own sword. Fight through the courts of Anubis, Inanna, Susanoo and Ògún, chain law into law into law, expand a god's domain to change the rules of the fight, and come back stronger from every death.
Original Steam description
Steal from the gods
You helped forge the Godblade, a sword made to hold every god's power, and then you ran with it. Now every god you meet wants it back.
Write the laws of a god's sword
The Godblade is unfinished. Its empty sockets take laws you write yourself, one sentence each: WHEN you dash, IF the foe is Soaked, THEN lightning arcs, TWICE.
Every deed is also an event, so laws set each other off: an echo drops a star, the star throws lightning, the lightning bursts a heated foe. Five gods, five statuses, twelve hidden concords to discover. Win a court, open another socket, and watch the chain grow.
Five gods. Five domains.
Fill your meter and expand a domain. The fight becomes a different place with different rules:
Susanoo's storm throws every enemy out of a wall of cloud and keeps them out.
Anubis's hall weighs each enemy's heart. The wounded are taken; the rest lose their weapons.
Inanna's seven gates strip the enemies' power at every gate and give it to you.
Ògún's forge pays you for hitting in time with his hammer, then cuts a road through everything ahead.
Your own page removes every cooldown, and everything you cast is cast again when it closes.
Every death makes you stronger
Fall, and you wake in Neri's workshop. Spend the ink you earned on the Blank Page: eight lines of the blade's design that no god signed. Each line has two answers, and what you write stays forever.
Carry one keepsake from a god you faced.
Fulfil the Ledger of Prophecies for more ink.
Once the last road is open, add weights to the Scales: harder fights, richer rewards.
Fast, readable combat
Cut, dash and cast through crowds in a hand-painted isometric world. Every hit lands with weight: hit-pause, sword trails, and bosses that change their attacks as the fight goes on.
Gods from real myth
Egypt's Duat, Sumerian Uruk, Japan's Izumo and the Yoruba Iron Grove. Each court is built from its own stories, art and music.
