HAXMAX

HAXMAX is a retro-styled roguelite autobattler where strategy meets urgency. You play as HAX, a virus corrupting a system by capturing critical data bases, defended by regular enemies and ANTIHAX - a special enemy that hunts you and comes back stronger every time.

Build. Adapt. Improvise.

Four actions: Attack, Heal, Shield, Rest. The probability of each Action depends on points invested in it. But keep in mind that you can collect modules that can entirely change your build - make Heal damage enemies, make Shield reflect damage back, slow enemies down, or turn Attack into healing and much more. Enemies have the same possibilities and get their own modules, so expect every fight to be a challenge. You have to improvise to win!

Master the Terrain.

Every map contains different terrain! Accelerators speed everyone up. Mist and forests let you hide, evade groups, or attack from ambush. Swamps make movement dramatically slow! To survive, use Jump and Freeze abilities. Jump leaps across many cells, breaking through enemy lines. Freeze stops enemies in place - chase weaker ones or flee from stronger ones. Both have cooldowns, so use them wisely.

Harder Map - Greater Reward!

Every run is different. Action prices shift, so you have to play differently every time, focusing on different Actions and collecting modules based on this. Maps vary in enemy difficulty every time, so you will need to start from an easy one to create a foundation for your build, and then find your way through other maps, climbing up the difficulty ladder. Your efforts will be rewarded because the reward from the enemies is multiplied by the map's difficulty level!

ANTIHAX is Coming...

Capture bases to take over the system and earn unique coins for permanent upgrades - making your next run much easier! But be aware of ANTIHAX who comes from time to time to stop you. Defeat him and you'll only buy time - on the next encounter, he returns stronger... Yet the reward is worth it!
