Velocity - Midnight Run

Run the endless streets of Velocity. Race through a field of 100 cars into escalating traffic, cop chases and weather. Tune your car in real time with the built-in boost controller on every car, shifting power between acceleration, grip and speed as you drive. Hit blinding speeds while sliding through tight corners, side streets and alleyways. Take down cops, or lose them by slipping off the highway and into the offramps.

Run

Start with nothing. Finish at number 1... or burn it all down in a wreck.

Start stock. Thread a gap at speed. Hold a drift through the cloverleaf. Tuck into a slipstream. Earn that Style towards the next level. Level up and choose one of three upgrades. Take the same part again and it climbs a tier, up to tier 5. Rivals, cops, new roads and rain all escalate as you cut through the field. Can you make it to number 1 in one piece?

Stash

Play it safe and stash your ride.

Call out to your crew. Break off the chase and dive into a multi-level parking garage, where a technical drifting course laid out by your crew and rival gangs winds to the roof. Slide every corner and climb level after level. Reach the top and park in style, safe to fight and race another day.

Strip

Nothing in this city goes to waste.

Take the cars you stash to the Chop Shop and strip them for your collection. Parts come rare in the city, but knowing how to use them is rarer.

Build

All for one more ride.

Swap your parts into your main ride and build the ultimate speed machine. Pick an ability for the night: Nitrous, EMP or Police Siren. Fit aftermarket parts, choose from eight tire compounds, and set up the boost controller so power sits where you need it. Then make it look the part: paint, finish, rims, underglow, window tint, decals, and swapped bumpers, hoods and side mirrors.

Compete

Put it all on the line.

Stash the right car and a rival puts a hidden ride on the line in a pink-slip race. Win, and it joins the garage. Pink slips and parts wagers against other players are next, if enough players join.
