Originalbeschreibung auf Steam
The year is 1999. A hard drive arrives in your mail. No sender.
LANGUAGES: Full English interface and subtitles. Full Hebrew voice acting.
Inside: the personal computer of the man the press called "Blackbeard". The cannibal who murdered seven medical students and vanished. The case went cold 26 years ago. No one was ever caught.
Now it's all yours. His emails. His recordings. His recipes.
Digital Hunger is a story-driven investigation game that takes place entirely inside a 90s desktop: files, browser, dark web, police terminal, and a recycle bin someone tried very hard to empty. There is no character to control. You are the investigator. And this computer does not want to give up its secrets.
No quest markers. No hints pointing the way. Just you, your instincts, and a killer's computer.
What's waiting inside:
• A complete 1999 operating system to dig through: files, emails, forums, websites and an onion network
• Puzzles built on real cross-referencing, not trial and error
• Live-action video with full Hebrew voice acting and complete English subtitles
• One moment we won't spoil that will make your real phone ring
• 3 different endings
• 4-7 hours of gameplay
Content warning: contains graphic descriptions of violence and disturbing themes. Intended for ages 18+.
