YOGRAK — the long way down

THE LONG WAY DOWN IS LITERAL

Every descent begins the same way: you fall out of Sanctum, steering your impact, and land in the INVADED CITY. The invading horde is already coming. It does not stop. You descend five floors, kill whatever holds the gate, and walk into the tear to the next zone.

YOGRAK is a side-scrolling horde-survival roguelike. Many armaments fire themselves and some are directly controlled. Your job is movement, judgment, destruction and the build.

FOUR AND FOUR

Two armament slots and two doctrine slots to start; the third and fourth of each are bought at OZANDRA'S SHOP.

Stack your shots to ten projectiles. Take RICOCHET and watch every armament obey its own physics: bolts bounce and fall, sword comets re-slam, the Lidless Ray bounces. OR redirect shots through the Doorman's portals.

Each character carries a birthright - a signature armament granted free.

THE COURT

You are not alone. Eight disciples and the sentient arms. Raise a skeleton legion. Adopt the COURT SLIME, who eats what you kill and grows. Befriend CUBE BUDDY, a compressed moon with a black hole inside. Summon the BEHEMOTHS. Keep MEOWOW. Carry THE JEALOUS BLADE a needy, loyal phantom with an indestructible sword who executes the wounded and screams on critical hits.

RELICS, RITES, AND ONE ORBITAL CANNON

Chests hold relics: the DWARVEN SPACE CANNON drops giant laser blasts from orbit on a 45-second cycle. THE NADIR IDOL freezes the world once per descent for the ECLIPSE. PICKUP CHAN, THE DOOR MAN PORTALS, THE PORTABLE MANDELBOMB, FRACTAL DOMAIN AND MANY MORE

THE SANCTUM

Between descents you walk your personal Sanctum. Recruited characters roam it and talk. There is a petting site. There is a game of ROCK VS SCISSORS VS PAPER that SER VOSKAR takes very seriously. There is a meadow outside time where the sky matches the real season and the real hour, and a black hole in the gallery that Yograk is quietly adding mass to for feats of strength.
