About the game

A roguelike tower defense deckbuilder where strategic hex placement creates a self-sustaining dungeon. Build monster synergies, survive relentless hero waves, and prepare for the Demon Lord's arrival.

Descrizione originale su Steam

Build a living dungeon one hex at a time. Hexing is an incremental roguelite tower defense deckbuilder: you don't command your monsters, you build the dungeon that fights for you. Draft cards, place monster camps on a hex map, surround them with shrines, traps, and runes, and grow a handful of goblins into an army that holds back endless waves of heroes marching on your summoning circle.

HOW A RUN WORKS

- Place camps. Every camp card goes on the hex map and spawns monsters that fight heroes on their own.

- Earn gold, buy cards. Slain heroes drop gold. Spend it in the shop on new cards, or reroll for better ones.

- Survive the waves. Each wave is bigger and stronger than the last. The run ends when the heroes break your summoning circle.

- Sign pacts. Reaching damage milestones offers demonic pacts: powerful boons that come with a price, like more damage for a weaker core.

- Short, replayable runs. A run lasts about 5–15 minutes, so it's always "one more run".

BUILD YOUR ARMY

- 9 monster camps, each with its own way to fight: Torch Goblins that set heroes ablaze, Skulls that taunt and wall up, Thieves that steal gold, Harpoon Sharks that shred armor, plus Spear Goblins, Trolls, Spiders, Imps, and Hex Shamans.

- 8 shrines that lend their power to neighboring camps: faster growth, gold, healing, range, slows, speed, respawns, and emergency reinforcements.

- Traps, runes, and rituals: pits and snares for the heroes' path, runes that permanently upgrade a camp, and one-shot rituals that turn a fight.

- Placement matters. Cards cover different hex shapes, terrain gives camps bonuses, and shrines only reach their neighbors.

GROW EVERY CAMP

- Kill scaling: camps grow stronger with every hero they kill.

- Stacking: stack duplicate cards onto a camp to evolve it up to level 5, unlocking new abilities and choosing between two evolutions along the way.

- Hexing: gamble blood to double a camp's damage, up to x64. Every success raises the stakes. Fail and the hex shatters, and at the highest level the card is destroyed.

FIGHT BACK DURING THE WAVE

Collect blood from fallen heroes and spend it to cast curses that weaken or root heroes, or hex your camps between fights.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY

10 hero types in 6 color tiers, each one tougher than the last: Warriors, Archers, Lancers, Monks that heal their allies, Sappers that sneak behind the front line to sabotage your camps, Swordsmen, Berserkers, Horsemen that ride around your defenses, Catapults that bombard your camps, and Kings that shield nearby heroes. Themed waves like Shieldwall, Horde, and Volley test your build, and Warlord bosses raise a shield that only a curse can break.

PROGRESS ACROSS RUNS

- 10 missions, each introducing a new mechanic and making you use it before you can clear it. Beat them to unlock Siege, the endless mode: how long can you hold?

- Soul Shop: heroes drop souls. Spend them on a skill tree of permanent upgrades and on Silver and Gold card packs that unlock new cards.

- Collection: track every card's records and learn which of your monsters counter each hero.

STORY

The Demon Lord wages an eternal war across countless worlds, timelines, and realities. As humanity grows ever stronger, battlefields near human nations are chosen and prepared for invasion. A single vanguard is entrusted with each battlefield, for if the summoning circle falls before the ritual is complete, the invasion is abandoned and another battlefield must be chosen.

Until the Demon Lord arrives, the fate of the invasion rests entirely in your hands. Every battle strengthens your camps, every victory hardens your army, and every decision shapes the force that will march alongside the Demon Lord to bring ruin to the human nation beyond.
