Original Steam description

Build, expand, and wage dice-driven wars in this medieval tabletop strategy game optimized for a digital experience. Adopt unique legacies to progressively define your strategy as you race your rivals to accomplish the most feats and claim victory.

You will roll dice. Lots of dice.

To win Kairos, you need to control settlements. In order to do that, you must fight. Some choose to plan ahead to recruit counter units, and others choose to overwhelm their opponents with a massive army.

You will choose wrong.

This is a game for people who enjoy learning by losing. To win, you need settlements. To not lose, you need an army. This is the constant tension of Kairos. Do I have time to build a third settlement? Is my opponent expanding or attacking? The mechanics are simple, but recognizing the right decision takes a veteran's eye.

You will defy the odds.

As rulers rise and fall, the people always remain. In Kairos, you always have the chance, no matter how small, to rise up and win it all. Deceit, alliances, and good old fashioned luck become your friends when the going gets tough.
