Face Your Fate is a single-player, pixel-art roguelike deckbuilder inspired by Chinese mythology. Build a deck, spin the reels to draw your next hand, and combine elemental patterns with the Fates you equip. Keep a useful result, reroll a column, or spend coins for another draw. Every decision shapes what happens when the cards hit the battlefield.

Build the deck behind the reels

Your cards and their elements determine what you can draw. Matching patterns can earn extra reels, up to eight. Plan around the hand in front of you, pursue the combinations your build needs, and chase a pure-element jackpot for a powerful finishing blow.

Put your Fates to work

Combat Cards attack, protect and heal. Equipped Fates trigger when their conditions are met, adding effects to your plays. Build around fire, poison, shields or repeated attacks, then find the cards that help your core strategy handle its weaknesses.

Explore, collect and upgrade

Travel through randomized maps across three chapters and nine stages. Fight enemies and elites, find chests and visit shops. Spend your coins on new cards and upgrades, add elements and seals to your cards, and decide how much to invest before facing the stage boss.

Regular attacks advance with the action gauges; building Staff Momentum opens your next reel draw. Watch enemy mechanics, prepare for shields and status effects, and time a parry against attacks that can be countered. From the Yellow Wind King and Erlang Shen to Taishang Laojun and the Buddha, each opponent gives you a different reason to rethink your build.
