SHORAPAN

This city belongs to those who keep silent. Silence was the one thing I could never keep.

SHORAPAN is a dark, story-driven game with exploration, point-and-click interactions, dialogue choices, and cinematic storytelling. It starts as an ordinary day and turns into an epic adventure.

That evening began like a hundred before it: rain against the window, fire in the hearth, wicker under my hands. I didn't yet know it would be the last of its kind.

There are no heroes or villains here, just people. Some break under fear, some cling to power, some betray others to stay alive. The game doesn't hand you easy answers. It shows you what human nature looks like when it's backed into a corner.

What you'll do:

• Explore the city and talk to the people who live there.

• Examine objects and places. The closer you look, the more you learn about the city and its people.

• Collect items and keep a journal.

• Solve puzzles, play minigames, and work through interactive scenes.

• Make choices in conversations and live with the consequences.
  
  

How it's made:

• Fully hand-drawn 2D art. Every background and every character is painted by hand.

• 2D animation. Fire, smoke, rain, shadows, and the characters themselves are brought to life frame by frame.

• The story took four years to write. Over that time it grew into a whole world with its own history, faith, laws, and cities. 

• A world built from scratch: no elves, no orcs, no dragons, none of the usual fantasy staples. 

• Every scene is built like a shot in a movie.

• Original music and sound design.

Inspired by the paintings of Beksiński, the cosmic horror of Lovecraft, the dark prose of Dostoevsky, and the darkness of Berserk.
