About the game
Steam 原始说明
NEW: play online with a friend. Survival, Course, Evacuation and Labyrinth, two players over the internet: quick match or invite a Steam friend.
Intercepted transmission fragment: "…the subject is awake. Begin the evaluation."
Officially, you don't exist. You wake up in a sealed metal room, a voice calls it "tests", and no one is coming for you.

Spiked walls, jets of scalding steam, pistons, gas, laser curtains. The traps never stop, and you only find out which one is waiting for you once the door is open. Watch, wait for the right moment, or run. You are not the first to come through here: the bodies prove it.

Other subjects share the facility. Some will help you. Others will wait for you to turn your back, or gang up three at a time to be sure. And when everything breaks down, you have to fight. Three paths open up before you, and none of them is free. The game shows no morality meter, but it forgets nothing.

Dozens of cameras cover the facility. A voice comments on your every move, provokes you, judges you. You can watch the screens too: a cell, a door opening, someone who doesn't know they're being filmed. Then the screen cuts to SIGNAL LOST. Further on, in the infirmary, you are asked a simple routine question. Your answer decides which trial awaits you.

Surviving is only the beginning. The facility doesn't just evaluate you, it settles you in: a cafeteria, a greenhouse, a library, a room with your name on it. The other subjects live here, some of them for a very long time. The more normal this life feels, the less you'll ask what it costs.

Here, nobody survives by luck. Between tests, the facility trains you: hold out against waves of robots, cross the courses between pistons and electrified tiles, go down into the labyrinth in the dark with whatever lurks there, reach the evacuation elevator through trapped rooms. Every training has its own online leaderboard. Alone, or two players on the same screen. And now, two players online.

Inspired by paranoid sci-fi closed-room thrillers like Cube. The real question isn't "how do I get out", but "who will you be when you do".
We Don't Exist is still in active development: more content will arrive before release.
